heLLo . . . & gO(o)d . . . bYe . . .

Whether obvious or not, and usually it's not,
everyone in your life is there to help you,
AND, they're actually doing so right now.

We call this the
Everyone In Your Life Is There To Help You Rule.

Tallyho,
The Universe

Which, incidentally, doesn't mean you have to keep them there.
In fact, their offering may simply be to teach you to say "adios."

Hello!

Looking back at my life, I can see how every person I've met and each relationship in my life has taught me very much--and, if I trust the Universe, I know these relationships were sent to me intentionally for my benefit. For me, this means feeling gratitude for the amazing people I know and (and this is harder for me to wrap my brain around) for the difficult people and relationships in my life, too.

Just like my message from the Universe says--sometimes, people are sent to us in relationship to help us learn what we don't want, what we will no longer tolerate, or what no longer serves our highest good. In other words, sometimes characters arrive for us so we can learn boundaries, . . . and eventually how to detach with love and say Go(o)dbye, or adios.

Sometimes it doesn't take too long to say hello & goodbye . . . and sometimes, we may hang on trying to make things work for years, while on the inside we are already saying goodbye 'cuz we're so lonely . . . we grieve alone quietly while we are still physically in the relationship . . . in which case our goodbyes can take years, even decades.

But that's okay, too. We say goodbye when we are ready. It's all perfect timing.

Thankfully, we can turn away from those relationships that no longer fit, and continue on our journey with gratitude, knowing that even the tough ones have been our best teachers.

Saying goodbye takes courage, and faith, and and a deep inner knowing that all is well and will continue to be well. When we say goodbye, we open up an amazing space of possibilities for all the great stuff to arrive! We can continue to do our best and stay in our integrity--with the help of our faithful friends, and the Universe behind us.

Go(o)dbye!
Lots of Love ;)

Hmnnnn . . . that's a number . . .

06.12.17.
The Number

I had a synchronous event a month ago when I was picking up my dog Teddy from getting a furcut. A woman beside me was also picking up her dog, and she had her hoodie on inside out. Because I am true to my women-folk, I told her about it because it was something I myself would do, and because I would want someone--even a stranger--to tell me.

She laughed, and shared that she had just moved her family here and was in the middle of unpacking, and that she had picked it up off the floor and just put it on before rushing out the door to pick up her rather large pup.

I admitted that I, myself, had slept in my outfit, and we began to chat more as we walked outside.

No coincidence that we are both bloggers, and each of us in our own way blog about spirituality, and the human condition.

And she lives about 2 miles from me. Her name is Sheila Qualls and she has an amazing story. Read about it at SheilaQualls.com.

Hello new friend! Welcome to my tribe!

Anyway, as I read her blog this morning about weight, it resonated with a conversation I had almost 30 minutes earlier with one of my besties, Alana. Here's the backstory:

I had back surgery last fall and was down for about three months after experiencing severe sciatica to the point where I had been crawling around the house last summer for almost 4 months--I literally could barely walk. It was a huge blessing, but also entailed a huge recovery, and I missed my job as a teacher so so much.

Long story short, I have put on almost 20 pounds since my surgery.

There. I said it.

And my body feels weird and foreign (but thank you, God, pain free). That's the gratitude. Anyway, I finally weighed myself this morning, and even though I have lost about 5 pounds, when I was talking to my friend Alana, I shared the number with her almost like I was going to confession--with shame, and an expectation that I would be in the doghouse (don't know from whom . . .).

Shame is interesting.

But when I shared the honest number with her, she said, "Hmnnn . . . that's a number . . .". And that was it.

WHAT THE HE(LL)CK?

And she then was the most supportive and beautiful friend I have ever experienced. Love you, girl!

About a half an hour later, Sheila's blog showed up in my mailbox. Read here: Sheila Qualls. It's a blog about women, weight, the media, and shame.

Coincidence? I think not.

Can't wait to walk our dogs together tomorrow and deconstruct. What a gift! I am so grateful.

prACTice (gr)ATTITUDE! . . . it's an attitude . . .

Gratitude is the
single most important ingredient
to living a successful and fulfilled life.
--Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series

I know from experience that when when I focus on and am thankful for the good stuff I already have, I send out amazing positive energy that can bring  MORE of the good stuff BTW . . . it works the same for being negative . . . Have you ever been around a bunch of complainers and jumped in and started whining along with them? And then you can feel your frequency drop like a lead balloon?

ENERGY (positive or negative) GOES VIRAL!

We all know that getting better at something (like being grateFULL) takes prACTice (NOTE: prACTice has the word ACT in it!!).

So how do we do it? I have a couple of ideas for you, but BEWARE: they take ACTion.

oNe iDeA: I personally like to write (duh . . .), so I keep a journal where I list things I am grateful for at the end of the day. That way, I end my day on a positive note, and I actually think I sleep better!

aNothEr IdEa: (pinecone story alert) there was a time in my life when I felt like noTHING was working . . . my job, my family life, my relationships (mostly with myself, aka funfreeMe NOT, but also with other people).

So, I started running (and running ... and running ... and running ... you know what I mean! ... cuz that's what we do, right? ....... we RuN ........... and fast!)

I happened to be running on a golf course one day and looked down and saw a pinecone. For some reason, I picked it up; this is how the Universe gets our attention sometimes. I sat on a bench that overlooked the entire golf course, ready to collapse into a pile of misery.

Then, for some reason, I decided to start counting my blessings. I had the pinecone in my hand, and I pulled off every tine (the hard prickly thingies that stick out on pinecones), and for each one, I thought of something I was grateful for. I sat there for over and hour, and by the time I was done, I felt sOsooooSo much better.

My energy changed from me feeling like crap to feeling, well, BLESSED. On this day I began to count my blessings . . . and this began my love affair with pinecones. More later . . .

Have a beautiful day!

yOu wERE BORN 2 BE U . . .

I think I probably have a lot of philosopher in me, and I have to admit that the kids in my 8th grade English classes have heard my thoughts about life for years (sorry, . . . I'll send you all Jolly Ranchers! . . . just leave your contact information in the comments below ;) . . .).

Here are some of my favorite philosophies:

You are born in this world to . . .
  • enjoy yourself, love yourself, and laugh loud and hard (especially at yourself--and your dear old English teacher, Ms. Curry . . . remember the fake teeth & poo?!) . . .
  • give yourself permission to use your voice and express your feelings--both good and bad--. . .
  • be kind and generous--there is plenty of everything to go around and around and around and around . . .
  • make mistakes and learn from them, and continue to love yourself and others, despite your flaws . . .
  • live a life of gratitude--for the good stuff and the challenging stuff
  • be in charge of yourself--this includes your happiness! . . .
  • be fully and greatly yourself (and not cheap imitations of other people) . . .
  • find your passions and use your gifts to serve others . . .
If you were in my class and you can think of any others, leave a comment below!!!! Or, if you have any personal philosophies, please share them!

You R HeRe!

I have been doing a lot of thinking and reading lately about being present, and today I had kind of an AHA-moment (also known as an EPIHANY in the world of English literature . . . just ask my students about it . . . they are so sick of me bringing this up! . . . but they're really smart!)

Today I was feeling really happy! Yay! And I felt so so so so so so good. And, because I was so happy, I was friendly, and smiling, and chatty (and I assumed I am smart and capable, and everybody likes me, and oh!-- I am cute! JK! not).

And my AHA moment was when I realized TIME-BENDING.

I was so present, that my past and future dropped off. SO AWESOME!

For those of us who have spent much of our time in REGRET (pain around our past) and WORRY (pain around the future), TIME SEEMS FOREVER DAUNTING.
  • we relive past pain
  • we lose sleep
  • we are up in our heads
  • we feel fuzzy
  • we are out of touch
  • we make up stories in our heads and believe them
  • we are not paying attention
  • we are scared and nervous
  • we are sad
  • we keep re-wounding ourselves
  • we continually beat on ourselves

I noticed today that when I give the players around me my full attention,
LIFE comes ALIVE; I am not breathing, but life breathes me.
And I am able to be in the moment, present with that which simply
IS,
holy in front of Me.

I AM (fully) HERE.

In my life, I have spent a lot of time and energy wishing:
  • I was with someone else
  • I was smarter, cuter BLAH BLAH BLAH
  • my body was different
  • I had more _____
  • my past was different
  • ANYTHING was different
  • EVERY FREAKIN' thing was different

When my vibration is negative, I call in experiences, people, and events that mirror this vibration.

It's a HELL of a lot of "NO!"

When I celebrate and feel gratitude for all that is before me (even the total CRAP-aliscious CRAP), I bring in goodness and light. I celebrate the NOW.

It's a HEAVENLY "YES! ( & thank you ) . . ."

This, my superfriend, is an amazing shift.

Where is your vibration? How can you command a HEAVENLY "YES"--even to the hard stuff?

Hugs,
Dana

DOG is GOD spelled backwards:sdrawkcab!

Pick Me!!!!
Teddy (2 years ago)
05.21.17.

My daughter and I watched A Dog's Purpose yesterday--what an amazing movie! I am so so lucky that Teddy, our yummy Cavapoo, found us online two years ago.

So, what's the deal? What is it about DOGs that makes them (wo)man's best friend? And, do you find the fact that DOG is GOD spelled backwards a coincidence?

Well, you already know how I feel about that . . .

We humans can learn a lot from DOGs; here are some reasons why I believe DOGliness is next to GODliness:

  • Life is simple for dogs: eat, play, sleep, pee, and poop. No drama, whatsoever. Wouldn't it be great if we could live like that?
  • Dogs are present, like, as in, they live in the moment. Have you ever seen a dog with regrets? Or worry about where to take the next nap? No way!
  • Dogs follow their instincts. Like, when a dog is tired, it just goes to sleep . . . doesn't matter where---car, sidewalk, lap (more about laps later . . .). And, if a dog gets a bad vibe from a person or another dog. . . it barks!
  • Dogs are forgiving. I don't know about you, but I've never witnessed a dog who holds a grudge. When something happens, a dog just moves on to the next thing!
  • Dogs are loyal. They have your back. They will protect you and stand by you. Have you ever heard of a dog leaving home or breaking up with its owner?
  • Dogs listen. (. . .without interrupting you, unless they're giving you little doggy kissies . . .). They will hold space for you while you cry about your stupid breakup or your crappy algebra test . . . (they also understand that your parents don't get it a lot of the time . . . true dat cuz dogs just give you that knowing dog look).
  • Dogs accept what is. Dogs aren't haters. They don't care what brand of clothes you're wearing or whether you sit at the cool lunch table. They also don't care what mood you're in or if you have morning breath.
  • Dogs love and serve. Dogs are full of gratitude and joy. Basically, a dog's job is to hang out, be present, enjoy life, and receive and give love. In other words,
 Just be(Love)d!

What if that's all we have to do, too?
Love and be(Love)d?

What if life is that simple?
Just sayin ' . . . Woof!

MOM is WOW, upSide dOwN!

Happy Mother's Day
05.14.17.
Today is Mother's Day and I know a lot of moms are going to be superly-duperly appreciated and honored! Awesome!

Sometimes, I look at my two amazing kids and think to myself . . . "WOW I'm a MOM . . ." what the heck have I done? (did I ever take a class for this?) . . .

Which leads me to the topic of gratitude. I am so thankful for being a mom, and sometimes, it's really, really tough, like . . . there are times when I feel like I have absolutely NO CLUE what I'm doing!!!!!!

Despite the challenges, life as a mom is usually actually pretty AmAZinG . . . and I feel really blessed by my two kids, Max and Chloe!

Being a mom also makes me very humble, cuz my kids (my own and my kids in my eighth-grade classroom) call me out on everything, and I mean everything!--which is good, cuz that keeps me honest and helps me grow.

(incoming top secret information)

Speaking from my own experience, we moms learn more from our kids than anyone can ever imagine!
As a matter of fact, my kids and students are my best teachers, like, for example, cHiLdReN:
  • are forgiving of others
  • are open to the Universe
  • stay in the moment (present)
  • are full of jOy!
  • laugh their butts off!
  • do crazy stuff!
  • say what's on their minds!
  • express their feelings openly and honestly
So, on mom's day, guess what? . . . I give my own kids gifts and cards to let them know how lucky and blessed I feel to be their mom, and how grateful I am that they're my most important teachers.

Weird? Nah . . .I'll always take any opportunity to give someone a present--makes me super happy!
(WoW, I'm a MoM . . . awesome)!
Have an amazing day, and say hey to your Mom!

Embrace. Change.

Embrace Change
05.13.17.

The one-ly (sometimes l-one-ly) thing that has been
constant
for me in the past 5 years (and actually, LIFE)
is
change,
damn it
(but not really the damn it part, anymore . . .
at first, FOR SURE the damn it part).
(Insert dramatic irony)

In the past five years, change has sometimes kicked me in the butt. Some of the changes I have initiated myself, some other people have initiated, some have been negotiated, and some have been presented to me (upside the head, in many cases) by the Universe.

It's all interesting.

I can remember talking with my brother, Chris, at a time of his life when he was in great pain, that we can't just be grateful to God and the Universe when things go the way we want; that we have to be grateful for it all--even when it feels like things are falling apart, when it's not our way. My brother died of a heart three years ago tomorrow on Mother's Day.

Big Change.

He was one of my soul mates, my sojourners. Life on Earth is qualitatively different without him.

To cite part of  his eulogy that was downloaded to me from Spirit in the middle of the night a few days after his death:

In the last months of his life when he was struggling, he was able to dig deep and live in his gratitude for all his blessings. We can’t just be grateful to God when things go our way, that in the daily struggles and in the pain there is love and there is learning—we humans may not see it because we JUST can’t get big enough. I reassured him that every experience is perfectly designed for us here on Earth so that we are presented with the lessons suited just for us. Sometimes, I just needed to remind Chris to breathe.

Of course, when I was talking with Chris about this, part of me was making the shit up---but the deeper part of me knows it's true--that every experience, every change, is a gift for growth. And I have to include his death, here.
We humans cling to same-ness, to predictability. We just want to KNOW.

If dandelion seeds did not ride on the force of the wind with complete surrender, they would never have the opportunity to spread their seed, to grow, and to multiply. Is the wind on their time? No. They rely on Nature, and the Universe.
It's all Divine Timing. For Dandelions. And for us.

Embrace Change.

It's just, well, change . . . the only constant in life.

Awaken to Spring!

05.08.17.
Spring has sprung!

Yesterday was the first day of the HAY HOUSE WORLD SUMMIT, an online event to inspire, heal, and begin some important conversations about life and love. IT'S FREE--check it out! I'll be blogging about it in the coming days . . .

I LooOoOOooooOOve the sPrIngTiMe!  Know Why? Because it's spring!

Everything is reborn, and reawakening from the stillness and incubation of winter.

Just to be clear: I do love every season for different reasons--because of the rhythm of the cycles of nature. It all happens in perfect time--when we can trust it and let go of control in order to allow all that is.

This past weekend at our cabin in Wisconsin, it actually felt like spring for the first time, and there are some things I really appreciate about this time of year:

  • driving to work in the SUNLIGHT!
  • Teddy, my dog, smelling like fresh air and grass when he comes inside
  • barbeque anything
  • the anticipation of summer
  • street music
  • Minnesota lakes and the buzz of people in the city . . .
  • the quiet centeredness of walking at Baker Park
Every spring is a great time to take an inventory about how we want our life to look and feel: for example, what behaviors and relationships do we want to call in or continue? and what behaviors and relationships do we want to let go? This is especially awesome to think about before Wednesday's FULL MOON!

Happy Monday!

hApPy "YOU" yEaR !

haPpy yOu yEaR!

Happy 2017, fun&freePps!

So we've dropped a big story in the past couple of days, and now it's time to rock it to the present and the future! This is your year of creating and celebrating the life you desire-- welcome to 2017! You are aLIVE and yoUr fabulous existence began as a strand of DNA . . . amazing . . . huh?

How do you live your life on purpose, with purpose?

I am doing a lot of stuff right now to figure out them meaning of my LIFE('s) juiciest purpose, and when I get in touch with me, I can check in to what gives me a feeling of passion and what brings me to LIFE!

When I used to live from the OUTSIDE:IN, I worried a lot about what other people thought of me--I found myself reacting to life rather than responding to it. And while responding is a more powerful place than reacting, I still wasn't living life & loving (myself and others) as a powerful coCreator!

I beLIeVE it is my destiny (& yours, too) to be the most powerful and fabulous expression of me I can be! That is each of our highest calling.

So, are you living life small? Or, are you living LARGE and in CHARGE--bursting forward with pursuing the amazing creative aCtS that give you energy and passion?

Have you every thought that the world will be a better place if you sHaRe your amazing gifts with the You-niverse, with your fellow travelers--otherwise, why would you be here? What presence do you wish to leave as your personal signature to your delicious and amazing existence?

That doesn't mean that life is easy, and there won't be challenges--as a matter of fact, the hard stuff is designed especially for us so we can learn and become even more amazing (I know it's hard to believe when your in the emotional and experiental crapper). Check out this Dr. Seuss vid called "Oh, The Places You'll Go" as a reminder of the awesome texture of LIFE!

Today, the first day of the NEW YEAR--I challenge you to do a bit of writing.
  • Make a list of at least 10 things, people, experiences, or opportunities that you are incredibly grateful for--be as specific and detailed as you can. Read the list out loud and at the end of each item, graciously feel the gratitude and say Thank you in your mind's eye.
  • Create another list of 5 things you desire to call in for this New Year--again, be very specific and write in the present tense. For example, I am earning an extra $1,000 each month, or, I run painlessly and freely each day. When this list is complete, read the list out loud, envision each desire fully with all of your senses-- and at the end of each item, graciously feel the gratitude and say Thank you, and so it is in your mind's eye. If you're really into it, you can create a vision board with the 5 things you's like to manifest--collect images, magazine snippets, drawings, whatever you like, and make a visual representation of each of your 5 desires that you can hang somewhere you'll see it every day.
  • Revisit your lists daily, and do the gratitude piece to close each process.
This is just on step to living your life as your BeSt sElF--remember that every juicy moment and hOLy interaction is created jUsT for you to reaCh youR hIghEsT poTentIaL! What are some of your desires in the new year? Leave a comment on the blog--we appreciate you sharing your experience!

You are large and in charge! LOL!
Blessings in the New Year!

LovE aLL of tHeM. . .

Dear fun & free folk!

Here is the message I got from the Universe the other day. It reminded me that I need to accept all the people in my life exactly as they are:

For as long as you wish to keep them in your life,
Dana Lynne, whoever they may be,
understanding them, as opposed to changing them,
will wildly improve the chances that they'll wish to keep you in their life.

Oh wow, how I love you -
    The Universe

I have spent a lot of time and energy in my life trying to change the people and circumstances around me. What I would like to do is work on accepting the people and challenges around me without fighting it all!

It is all good; and, as my bestie always says to me, "All is well..."

I love life! All of it . . . the good stuff and the not so good (crappy) stuff!

iS yOuR mINd THINKING yOu?

“There is nothing either good or bad,
but thinking makes it so.
”
~Shakespeare
Dear FunFreePeeps!

Yesterday, after listening to a bit of Esther Hicks, I wrote about the Law of Attraction, and it's connection to emotions and thoughts:
We can watch with detachment our emotions like a guidance system. We also can listen (with detachment) to our thoughts, which are our vibration--the point of attraction.

If we want to attract something different in our lives, the place to start is by changing our thoughts! And, if we are having resistant thoughts, we can change them to from resisting to allowing.

When I actually listen to my thoughts and believe them--especially when they are negative or self-critical, or they have to do with my past or worry about my future . . . they get bigger, and BIGGER, and BIGGER . . . until I feel like they're in charge of me, until they literally take over!

I have to remember that I am in charge of my own thoughts and beliefs, and my perceptions of the outside world are nothing more than projections of my inner experience--my fears, doubts, struggles, my own dark spots. Luckily, I'm learning that these are under my control.  Whew!
I am learning to DETACH from my own thoughts and  OBSERVATIONS of the world around me; I'm trying to practice observing without attaching judgement or expectation about what I want something to look like, smell like, or act like. I'm taking my thoughts out of the driver's seat 'cuz sometimes it feels like
MY THOUGHTS ARE THINKING ME!
(and not the other way around)

"You are not your mind, your emotions or the circumstances of your life.
You are the peaceful observer of your mind and emotions
that allows life circumstances to pass through and around you
for your evolution to finally come to a place of total acceptance of all that is.
Only the peaceful observer remains after all else fades away.
Only the peaceful observer in total acceptance of what is
can take action towards effectively changing anything.
You are only this peaceful observer--
everything else is as fleeting as the blink of an eye,
choose happiness and don't buy into it."

- Jackson Kiddard
As I wrote about yesterday, our state of wellness is always available to us because we can choose pleasant feeling states; contentment and peace are our responsibility 'cuz ultimately we choose our own thoughts, our own beliefs, and our interpretation of our own life events. If we are too busy focusing our time and energy on what is wrong, we may be putting our attention to the wrong stuff and drawing more of the yuck back to us (LAW OF ATTRACTION!).
When we choose to see the many incredible things that take place every day in our world across the world, our amazing relationships  in our lives. And, when we choose to accept all THAT IS, we can be at peace.

Which brings me back to (of course! you guessed it!)

ACCEPTANCE & GRATITUDE.

So, to get myself out of my brain and thoughts, I am going to meditate and begin a gratitude practice by silently saying thank you to all that is in my day--as if it the very best fro me and I trust the Universe.

Hearts!

cELeBraTe tHe SuCCEss of OtherS!

Sometimes, what's really cool, Dana Lynne,
is giving profuse thanks for the good fortunes that befall others -
no matter who they are -because, invariably,
your joy for them will yield the same good fortunes for you.

Shoe-wee!

The Universe
Dear FunFreePeeps!

Have you ever felt kind of jealous of someone? Maybe for what they have, or some accomplishment of theirs? Do you ever compare yourself to others and feel like you're not as good, or not enough, or not as lucky, or not as ________(fill in the blank)?

I know I've written about that feeling before . . . and I used to do that to myself, too. Consider this: when we are faced with a friend, a colleague, or even a complete stranger who has
  • a streak of good fortune
  • a surprising success
  • an unforeseen opportunity
  • a job they love
  • wonderful health
  • lost weight
  • an amazing relationship
  • or even stuff like a BRAND NEW CAR or a McMANSION! . . .
the Law of Attraction requires us to be as thrilled - - YES! ThRiLLeD!

for that OTHER person, as if we, ourselves, would be ThRiLLeD had we been the fortunate recipient of __________(fill in the blank).

Even better, we can act as if the __________ has already arrived, and practice gratitude for it, as if we already have __________ and are enjoying the amazing benefits of it!

And we have so much of __________, that we can turn around and share it with others!

What if you BEGAN with the piece "SHARING with others," even thought the ________ hasn't yet arrived? Now THAT would create even more space for more of _________ to arrive in your life . . .

Just sayin' . . . (or does that seem too scary 'cuz you think you'd actually have less . . . that's how our mind plays tricks with us, huh?); it's the opposite . . . we would be opening up space for MORE!

That's how The Law of Attraction works . . .
Give it up!
Happy Friday,
;) Dana

WiShEs aRe yOUr fUtUre PrEPaRiNg YOU 4 gReAtNess!

Dear Fun & Free Peeps!

Yesterday, I shared this amazing poster by Karen Salmonsohn. I have done a lot of reading and studying about manifestation and the LAW OF ATTRACTION (read the book The Secret or watch the movie--it's amazing!), and one thing I struggle with (and have for a long time) is that I'm not always sure what I want--or I don't trust myself enough to know what I want and just end up second-guessing what I think I want--does that even make sense?

A recurring and painful pattern in my life is this: It's easier for me to try and meet other people's needs before my own, so I've struggled with acquiring the skills & practice it takes to get in touch with what I want--that just hasn't been my role--until just recently (meaning in the past 5 years, or so . . .). So part of my journey has been to GET IN TOUCH WITH ME AND WITH WHAT I HOLD AS MY DEEPEST  & MOST PRECIOUS WISHES.

I want my wishes to come true-- and therefore it's my job as a Child of the Universe to leverage my wishes, but first I've had to learn to LISTEN to the whisperings of my heart.

What has helped my find this inner voice is most definitely and directly tied to my spiritual practices, which include:
  • writing (in my journal and sharing my process in this daily bloggety-blog)
  • reading books, blogs, and literature that inspires me
  • healing/energy work
  • meditation
  • yoga
  • processing with loved ones
  • eating properly & exercising
  • treating myself with love and kindness
  • accepting myself as an imperfect human (which is perfect)
  • speaking my feelings and my truth respectfully and firmly (or, just barfing them out in inappropriate ways and then taking corrective measures after ;0)
  • intentionally being present, in the moment
  • saying "I'm sorry" when I make a mEsS with my words or actions
Now, really, this list is pretty long, and I certainly am not 100% on any of it--but the point is, I'm intentionally raising my awareness, and I'm trying to evolve. So, as I look at Salmonsohn's "How to make wishes come true," I am going describe what each item means to me right now on my journey:
  1. Feel your dream with all your might. This is about visualization, The Law of Attraction, and gratitude. We can make our wishes come true faster when we appreciate what we already have and act "as if" we already possess what we desire.
  2. List your "To Do's," Write. Write. Write. In order to manifest what we want, it's a great idea to write down what we want in specific, present tense terms. Making a vision board is also am amazing process.
  3. Overwhelmed? Take Smaller bites. Sometimes we go for the big stuff, when continuous, smaller steps might be more palatable.
  4. Frustrated? Focus on all that's right. Once again, gratitude for all we already have is super powerful to call in the even better stuff, relationships, and circumstance!
  5. Impatient? Focus on what's within sight. This practice helps keep us in the present, with our short-term goals right in front of us.
  6. Hustle each day. Appreciate progress each night. Calling in our deepest desires takes daily action--manifestation is not wishing and hoping without taking steps toward what you want. At the end of the day, we can appreciate and feel gratitude for our progress.
How do you make your dreams come true? Leave us a comment and share your ideas!
Lots of Love,
Dana
